Been Away...

Sorry for not replying to anyone who's commented or faved me for the last couple of months, but the big bad world offline has been pretty much taking up every last minute (and more) of my time. Hopefully within a few weeks I'll actually be able to post some more pics, and get back in the saddle. For now, though, I'd just like to give my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has either faved or watched me, and I hope to see you all soon! ^^

We just finished having, if not precisely a hurricaine, than as close to one as it gets... lots of damage, and the flooding still hasn't cleared up >_>... Not that this has anything to do with my not submitting any fan art in the past week or two - that's just laziness!

I've been here a week, and while the overwhelming response has been very positive, I got my first hater posting in one of my comment threads. Not about the quality of my work (or lack of... lol), but about the subject matter. Now it's all well and good to give a reasoned opinion about why you do or do not like the way a picture is drawn, rendered, or colored, but when you try to impose your own narrow morality on someone else's work, then the gloves are off my friend!
No need to get into details, but I think that anyone who has a problem with certain depictions should probably just keep their smug moralistic opinions to themselves...

The Mind Boggles 0.o

For the last year or so, I had resisted joining the DA community, convinced that I sucked far too badly to post anything here. But with the urging of a dear friend 
, and another year of working on my cartoons, I finally broke down and joined. And much to my amazement, I've received an incredible response to my work: after less than a week, I've gotten almost 2000 page hits, and numerous faves, friends and watchers! Like the title says, the mind truly boggles... I just want to say that I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who has given me a reason to think that maybe, just maybe I don't suck completely!
